What I've Learned
You can have the snazzy-ist of snazzy logos, and wiz-bang marketing - but without a story, you're not going anywhere. The best brands in the world are successful because they are efficient at communicating a compelling story that offers a unique experience for those potential customers in a way that earns their buy in. Sure, fancy graphics have their place, but fancy graphics do not a brand make. It's a sugar high, a mirage - just the latest design craze that evaporates after Q3. 
People like an experience
That personal experience is key. You want brand loyalty? Then find out what makes your customers shout, "Hell yeah! I'm proud AF of my purchasing decisions." I know that's what I look for. I want a brand that speaks to my vibe. A brand that represents ME.  And I'm willing to bet you do, too.
